  I just called to ask if they do ring engravings. The woman put me on hold, then came back and said did you purchase the ring here? I said no. She put me on hold a second time and them came back and told me I'm sorry but my engraver said we're too busy not to take any more engraving orders we just got an engagement party order and he's very busy. I said wait a second I didn't even get a chance to ask you how long the turnaround time would be, like if I brought it in and waited a week or something... she said no I'm sorry we can't take the order. So, THIS IS HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS? You TURN DOWN CUSTOMERS?!? This woman had no idea how big my order would be, what future business I could bring to them, recommendations to friends/relatives etc. Apparently, they don't need the money. Well, good for them. Well, they won't be getting MY money either. EVER. -edit - Just called Casale Jewelers on Richmond Road. Spoke to Karen. One of the sweetest people ever. Figured I needed my order for Mother's Day, she said she'd make sure that she'll get it done in time, just bring it in. THAT'S THE WAY IT'S DONE, B&A!!!!!

  Very disappointed bought an 8100$ Cuban link 14k to find out its only 90 grams cost around under 2300 at 25g 14k gold 😞

  I went in yesterday for the first time, staff was nice. The only thing I have to say is, that they are high way robbery, highly expensive, told me that the pair of earrings that I want will be $750, so I went to another jewelry store near by and the price she gave me for the same exact earrings was $400 and if I pay cash she'll take off the tax. Bamboo earrings are definitely not worth $750. $400 is even a lot since I paid $250 back in the days but I understand that the price of gold went up. I know now not to ever go there again. My advice to everyone is to shop around first before you spend too much money on something you can get for less.

  I had gone in two years ago to purchase an engagement ring for my now wife and will never forget. I sat down with a woman, I believe the owner's wife, she was great made you feel like a million bucks. Then the owner Joe came by and all downhill from there. My wife was with me and we said we knew we wanted either a cushion cut or emerald cut stone. He said no you don't want those you want round cut they are timeless. I said thank you but she already decides cushion or emerald. He said he didn't have any cushion worth showing us but showed us emerald cut. I mentioned what price I was looking to pay, he comes back from the safe with a stone in a case with a customers receipt on it saying this guy came by yesterday only left a few hundred dollar deposit if you pay cash now you can have it and I'll find him something else. At that moment I walked out, how can I trust someone with a diamond that won't even honor a deposit left by another customer. He was shocked! I wouldn't buy anything from this place probably fake or not to the quality you are being told.

  I recently purchased an engagement ring and wedding band for my wife for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was my first time at B&A jewelers. The staff at B&A were awesome. They made us feel very comfortable and at ease during the entire experience. They helped us pick the most beautiful diamond and ring that fit our budget. When they asked me what made me pick B&A, I said being a Staten Islander I've always known their reputation and integrity is impeccable. We are very happy with our purchase at B&A!
