I(USED)to love this place! The staff USED to be absolutely wonderful people. I just went back the other day to take my boyfriend to try this food I've been raving about. I walked in and immediately saw a dirty, not even half stocked cooler and some pizza that looked like it had been under the heat about a week too long. I was actually embarrassed by how much i had talked it up to seeing.....This. I asked casually about the former employees and was fed a story that true or not , should not be told to customers. We decided to be brave, because in truth, i have seen food that looked kind of unappetizing and turned out pretty good. This was not one of those cases. I honestly think they put sauce on a cardboard box from the back room, added toppings and sent it through the oven. GROSS!! All I'm going to say about the cleanliness was that sweeping the dirt and food into a pile UNDER THE REGISTER, and just leaving it even though we were the only customers in there, looks tacky and just eww! Lars needs to open his eyes and look at what is becoming of this once nice, hopping little pizza cafe` with excellent food. I hope something changes and the ambiance and cheerfulness returns with the quality food.

Authentic pizza that tastes like no other pizza place. The dough is perfect and the sauce has a little kick to it. I could seriously eat here every day! Yummy!

Apparently they close at 1:30, not at 4? I arrived at 1:45, thinking that would be plenty of time since they are supposed to be open till 4. Had been looking forward all day to trying it and made a special trip into downtown on a snowy day to do so. Nope, they were completely closed. Make sure you get there early, before they decide to arbitrarily close 2.5 hours before the say they do. I understand closing a free minutes early on a slow day. Shutting down 2.5 hours early is unacceptable and I probably won't bother coming back.
