  Typically like supporting local business, but when I went in for sheet protectors I heard the owner explain to charge high. They wanted $1/sheet. It was def. feeling exploitative. I will not be going back again. Ever.

  Very helpful staff, open on Saturday! Carried replacement part for furnace motor so that I could complete DIY repair on the weekend and get the furnace up and running again.

  These guys were amazing! They stayed open for me at the end of the day and solved my easel repair issue cheerfully and with the skill as only an experienced hardware sales team can. Thank you guys! My newly purchased craigslist easel now doesn't wobble on the table. I was feeling like I made a bad deal...no more thanks to your compassionate over and above service. You guys at Ankey Hardware are the best!

  Saturday during a heatwave in Portland. This was the only store open that I could find that stocked a full range of HVAC parts. They had the capacitor that I needed for my AC. I installed it, and my AC is again humming away.
