  What a great, clean little spot. It was much more than I expected. They even provided coffee and donuts and I want counting on that! Don't let the today edges of market Street get you down; there is still a lot of class to be found here. Enjoy your stay.

  For the price it is a good value. It is low cost for the area so don't expect much. The common bathroom and shower (Not in room) is something to get used it. Staff are very nice. It is very no frills and everything is old and run down a bit but is clean and no bugs or weird stuff. Also, it is in a bit of a rough neighborhood. All that said... for the price and location it is good and I will stay there again.

  I don’t know what I was expecting from a place that costs ~$100 a night in San Francisco and hand-writes the receipt. You will get exactly what you are paying for here. The rooms may or may not include a bathroom, and by bathroom I mean a toilet and sink and shower. Mine did, which was good, but shower dripped loudly throughout the night and kept me up, which was less good. Either way, you will be able to hear absolutely everything going on around you. It’s in a not great area but I mean again what are you expecting from a hotel in SF under $100?

  I'll foreword this by saying I know it's not a fancy hotel and for the price you can't expect too much considering the area and proximity to downtown. However the hotel itself is definitely older, has a smell and general on the down and down. The first room I was in had a sink with a knob for separate hot and cold water which you have to hold in order to get the water to flow. The shower is literally small enough for one person and thankfully I ordered it to be in room, if it was shared there is literally no where to put any of your clothing. The hotel itself was fairly quiet, the other tenants weren't loud and housekeeping will change your towels and make your bed if you need it. Also in my first room the phone line was broken and the TV had no remote. I ended up going to a new room which was much better. I'll also say it's the only hotel elevator I've ever seen with rug on the walls of the elevator instead of plastic or wood, so very fancy clearly. The neighborhood is definitely interesting and has some "colorful" characters, it's not dangerous but just be aware..

  Old structure but clean hotel. Shared bathrooms and showers. Very friendly staff. Many homeless in the area, but inoffensive if you don't bother them. It basically worth what you pay. Recommend it!
