  I've heard a ton of good things about this restaurant and didn't experience any of them when I was here. I had the sheep's head fish with ocean sauce. I could forgive it being bland, but I could not forgive the multiple fish scales that I pulled out of my mouth. Also, the waiter's high and mighty attitude was very off putting. The rack of lamb my mom ordered was out of this world though! I probably won't go back given the high price, long wait, cash only, disgusting bathroom (probably the worst in NOLA), and mediocre food, but who am I? They're raking in cash hand over fist and could care less.

  Wow, what a find! We went here on the recommendation of a friend. They told us to arrive early because there would be a wait. They were right. We arrived 1/2 hour before the doors opened (in the rain no less) and we got one of the last tables. Awesome food!! You would never guess just by looking at the place that the food would be so world class. It's a total divey upstairs room that used to be an apartment. Very cool, very NOLA!

  If you're thinking of eating here, please do yourself a favour and come and try it. Yes you have to wait, but there's a bar downstairs with generous pours and music, so you'll be fine. The food is so, so delicious. Get the off menu specials, take the recommendations, you won't regret it. Bre is awesome! Let's hope you are lucky enough to be served by her!

  I wish I could have taken a picture of our food, it was amazing! Our server, Brianna (I think? I know it was Bre), was so nice, She didn't make us feel rushed, and she her recommendations of the Mussels and Rack of Lamb, was amazing! I had mine with salad and my boyfriend with pasta. When I asked her a question, she asked the rest of the staff and told me the best shops to go at the time. As for the cook, all I can say is WOW! The whole staff was amazing. This was worth the small wait cause of how busy it was, and it was worth the price 100%, best date ever. My boyfriend and I plan to come back again next year

  Hands down some of the best food in New Orleans. If you don't call ahead for a reservation, you have to put your name on a list to make it inside. We waited for an hour and a half but it was so worth it! We had the steak in ocean sauce and their snapper also in the ocean sauce with an order of escargot as an appetizer. From our meal, the garlic bread, wine, and family feel, we had a great time. Just make sure you bring a wad of cash as it is cash only. You will spend an average of $50 per person so be mindful. They do have an atm available though, so no worries. I will absolutely return to this delicious place. So worth everything
