::Beware. Awful banking system. I've encountered so many issues with the credit card and online banking service. I paid for a service in February concerning a call service account that I no longer needed. I had called telmate had my refund processed by them and they had told me it was up to my bank to issue the refund. I had called Monday about this refund I was supposed to get issued in March, they told me they recommend I dispute it. I did, checked my credit card statement today and they are trying to charge me AGAIN for this transaction I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET REFUNDED AND HAD ALREADY PAID IN FEBRUARY FOR. I was like alright let me check my telmate account and see the balance I call and the balance is at zero meaning academy bank is fraudulently charging me for services I've not used. I paid my credit card on the second of April and instead of it lowering my balance it added to my balance instead. Academy bank yall need to get your ish together. As soon as I get everything sorted out I'm taking my money and services elsewhere. Ridiculous!

::Employees are great the bank itself is horrible. If you've opened a credit card through them good luck, they bank through another bank concerning their credit cards so getting someone who can help me with issues regarding my account is almost impossible. Also fraudulent charges don't get credited until the next month so you have to pay it or else your credit will tank. Paying the credit card online is a hassle, they won't accept your payment for that day if you've paid after 5pm. I paid 3pm and it says it won't reflect on my account until the next day , when my payment is due today. All in all the credit card is good for newcomers as it does build credit really fast but there's just too much hassle for me. I recommend calling to pay though

::I was just racially profiled after being a continuous customer for over the last 5 years showing proof of my bank card and identification issued by the state nobody can produce documentation supporting this policy that requires black people to remove their hoodies and mask during covid 2 per that there then I dealt with Philip Valsecchi, Jamie S, and the branch manager Elizabeth P 0 stars and if you're a person of color please get your money out of this unethical racially-motivated institution
