I walked in and had to wait in a very long line. The line moved quickly and it was quite Pleasant to be there. I ordered a cappuccino and a biscuit breakfast. I placed my order and then I had to find a seat. after a few minutes they called my name so I went up and collected my drink. It took about 7 more minutes for the food to be ready so I picked it up and back down at my table to enjoy my breakfast. My cappuccino was strong but not bitter and quite tasty . I had ordered biscuit with goat cheese and fried egg. The goat cheese was lovely however egg was over cooked and the biscuit was raw, soggy and under cooked in the center. Overall an okay experience

We went twice last week while visiting DC. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. The first day for breakfast we had an NC Country Ham (delicious) and a Prosciutto Sammie (an unexpected but wonderful breakfast offering), a perfectly cooked poached egg, bacon cooked crisp as ordered, toast with butter, and a delicious and large cinnamon roll. Fresh OJ rounded out the meal. Our second visit here was for brunch. Another Prosciutto Sammie and a Meatloaf sandwich were shared between the two adults. The child has his usual poached egg, bacon and toast. The egg was perfect again. The bacon came out too soft but was quickly and happily remade. The iced tea with peach undertones is particularly good. Not too โ€œpeachyโ€. Just right. If we lived in the city, this would become a โ€œregularโ€ stop for our family.

Most delicious place we ate breakfast at in DC, super pet friendly, amazing staff, and they know their coffee almost as well as their bread. We took lots of food due to generous portions on the drive home. Little bites of heaven, every crumb.

My husband and I stopped by here for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed this very hip place. We actually walked here from our hotel for about 30 minutes through a snow storm and when we got there, the place welcomed us with a very cozy uet hip and upbeat atmosphere. The service is fantastic and the food - delecious. We especially enjoyed their herbal teas, made and served in a french press. The food was wonderful, as light or as hearty as you want (mine vs husbands choice) and the cookies was a perfect ending to an excellent breakfast. If I lived in DC, I would frequent this place

A really nice alternative for breakfast. I loved the savory oatmeal (oatmeal with sausage, egg, kale, and caramelized onions). I've never had anything like it before. The coffee is quiet too. The seating is comfortable and informal. The menu is creative (I had to Google at least two terms) and the food is good quality. Be prepared to wait a bit, there may be a line.
