  Didn't take my international ID (never been rejected because of it) so had to go back and get my passport. Just annoying not neccesarily the worst. Other than that prices are ok and open later (midnight) than most liquor stores in my area.

  Limited selection. Rude, uninformed owner. Instead of helping us source our requested items, the owner set out to insult our tastes. They never backed down and insisted we were wrong for our preference. They lost a substantial sale that day, and moving forward. They are just too many local options to put up with service like this.

  Bad experience. I have a problem when I go the counter to pay for a purchase with a credit card and the cashier disappears with it for a number of minutes. When questioned he told me that the credit card machine is behind me on the other side of the store. How dumb is that!! Why on earth would you put the credit card machine on the opposite side of the store to the counter?? I have a huge problem walking into a store and having my credit card taken to a different part of the store and out of my sight. I complained and the cashier apologized but the other older clerk told me that if I didn't like it not to come back. He is right about that - I most certainly will never go back to this store. I have called my credit card company and informed them of what has happened and that I am concerned about the security of my card. The card has been cancelled and I will get a new card in a few days. Rather safe than sorry as who knows what they were doing with my card behind my back.

  Wandered in here in search of a few wines for a dinner party I was having that night. Was amazed at the floor to ceiling displays of wine as well as wooden towers situated across the floor. From $5 wines to $300 bottle of wines, this place has you covered. And don't worry, if you forgot to restock your nicest bottle of scotch, 76 Liquors has got you covered. What impressed me the most was the service. The gentleman sought me out in the middle of the store to relieve my arms of holding multiple bottles of wine. He then let me wander without trying to force any certain selection upon me; however, when I did ask for a certain style he was able to tell me pretty much about the parent-grapes in each bottle. I enjoyed the conversation as he was familiar with the Texas Wine Country and over all had absolutely the best experience. It's not exactly on my beaten path, but I will definitely go out of my way to come back.
