  Melanie Valez is an amazing stylist and colorist. She has been doing my hair for the past few years, creating the perfect melting balayage highlights. She knows what will work for your face and coloring. I trust her as she knows best techniques. Plus she is just super cool and chill. 6th Borough Salon has a great ambiance and location.

  Excellent color skills! Located right next to Church Square Park, these guys are worth a visit. They always offer water and wine, offer to order you food, and make it such a pleasant experience. I typically bring in a laptop or IPad to entertain myself but they are great at entertaining clients! Fair prices, great work, flexible hours. Check them out.

  Such a warm and lovely setting, and James offered excellent and sensible advice to my questions about my hair-color requests! I am so happy with the results, and can recommend both James and Jackie very highly to anyone looking for expert hair-color advice, and a calm and non city-like milieu in which to do it!
