  In the early 70s some classmates and I did a movie on "pollution in our community". We filmed most of it in what appears to now be Zonolite Park. There was trash and sludge everywhere. I've been away from ATL for years. So imagine my surprise when I now see it's a beautiful park. I can't wait to go and visit it. By the way, Coach Blackerby at Briarcliff HS gave me, David Paller and another student an A. I wish I still had the movie!

  Lovely urban greenspace reclaimed from a former toxic dump, an excellent example of what conservation can accomplish. While rather small, the park provides nice views of South Peachtree Creek and the surrounding forest, along with a pleasant outdoor pollinator garden. Dog and hiker friendly, this is a good place to spend an hour two away from the urban sprawl.
