  We visited the Botanical Garden on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. Even in late September, things were vibrant.The gardens were lovely, especially the Japanese garden. Plantings were well labeled, which made it even more interesting for my amateur botanist's heart.

  This is my five year old son's favorite Austin place to visit. Lots to see add explore. Best part... It's free.
