A wonderful community asset in Pendleton/ OTR. Checker and chess, ping pong, bocce ball and other sports equipment are available for free rental, and the pool is the only deep water public pool in the city! Great community youth programming in the summers, too.

This park is amazing! From the playground set to the Playground Grass by ForeverLawn, I can't believe it is just open to the public like it is. And you can even play ping pong!? Definitely worth checking it out if you're in the area (and swing by Collective Espresso next door).

Great city park with some unusual playground equipment. Plenty of parking (meters and garage). Very clean, including bathrooms. Monitored by a playground attendant who keeps an eye on everyone, kind of like an official neighborhood guardian. (She found a set of unattended house keys and made sure the young owner wore them on a his key chain, so they wouldn't get taken/lost). Two friendly police officers were also on duty on the corner. There is a small green space too, big enough for small kids to kick a soccer ball. Beware of dog poop though. Dogs seem to be welcome, and there are dog poop bags and trash can, but apparently not everyone uses them. Hopefully the park attendant, officers, and neighbors can strongly encourage dog owners to respect the space and keep it clean.

My daughter likes this park a lot. Her 2nd favorite in town! They have a range of things to do and sprinklers when it's warm if you don't want to go swimming. It's kept clean and there's plenty of shade to sit under once she wears me out!

Our family loves the park and pool. It's a great location for "getting away" within the city. The parking garage is fantastic, too.
