  Friendly staff and great service. I've been a customer since October 2017. Gets busy at certain times so if ur not dining in, i suggest you call your order in.

  I was working very close by and this was the only restaurant open for some reason I can't remember if it was a holiday or something but what's good lunch and did just as I need it a drink thank you.

  Been coming here for years. Used to be our go to breakfast when staying downtown. It used to be five star but last visit was a 3 at most. Four of us went for breakfast Sunday morning about a dozen people in the restuarant including us. Our waitress could not get off of her phone! Had to keep bugging other waitstaff for coffee, jam etc. Told her in the beginning two checks (one for each couple), she said no problem. Dropped off the ticket to the cooks and went right back to texting or whatever on her phone. Order came wrong, checks not split up (just tell them what you had) etc, and right back to her phone! Food went down due to the waitress not conveying the order correctly I am sure. Thankfully the rest of the waitstaff was great and took care of what we needed. We just ate the food as it came, as we wanted to get out of there. Last time there for me. Not what the place used to be, and I used to be a regular when visiting downtown in the morning.

  Great coney diner with all of the standards. Service is prompt, the food is fresh, and you can usually get a seat right when you walk in. They’re used to doing takeout orders and pumping food out quickly. Only slightly strange thing to me is the bottled and canned beverages instead of fountain, but I can live with that.

  The biggy sandwich. It's enough for 2, unless your really hungry and could eat a whole one. The nice staff at Zeff's put ours on 2 separate plates. So the picture is 1/2 sandwich. Eastern market is an excellent place to go find some good eats and great food abounds. Zeff's is a excellent stop.
