::Great for roasted chicken and garlic cause. The side dishes are ok, pickled turnips have absolutely no flavor. Also the pita is good but not made on site.

::Armenian food with Burbank feel. Short wait for a tasty meal. Chicken, beef, and more are all worth it. Enjoyed the center seating, the young families πͺ, and the pleasant dining experience in the midst of a rare so cal deluge. It actually made dealing with the rain more enjoyable.

::And the award for The Slowest pick up service goes toβ¦ This Zankou Chicken location. Ordered at 7:20p on a Thursday on-line and food still not ready 8:30p. Wasnβt a big order and you are not busy. Maybe you had a great dinner rush but thatβs no excuse. Plan better

::Chicken kabob plate / 2 grilled chicken kabobs, grilled tomato, marinated onions, rice, hummus, cucumber salad, pita, garlic sauce - 5 π! Some folks think whole chicken is the way to go at Zankou. Others like the vertical grill meats. I have a personal preference for their kabobs (but definitely enjoy everything on the menu). Something about the Zankou Chicken kabob plate is magical to me. I'm a big guy, and this is a meal that never fails to fill me up. It is always made fresh to order, and the meats they use are tender and filled with flavor. The kabob meats are placed on top of a bed of basmati rice, and the standard plate has cucumber salad and hummus. Every bite winds up being awesome. This is the Burbank location. It's in a place with a big parking lot, so there are no issues there. The decor is whimsical and fun. The place wasn't crowded, so food came out fast for me. If you are new to LA and want a Mediterranean meal that has many locations, Zankou is a great pic.

::What happened???? We got our take out home and it tasted like someone just poured the whole box of Salt on everything, from the chicken to the Tabouli. The Falafel was over cooked pretty much Burnt and no dressing. They gave us Tons of garlic butter I mean TONS, that wasn't very good either and bread, maybe that was to make up for the salty taste. Did you change owner's, Cook's it was really bad. I've been coming here for years, I think I'll have to find a different place to get my middle eastern food. I wouldn't even give it a 1/2 Star but it won't let me post without it So disappointed.
