  Great for walks year round, windy in winter though. No dogs allowed.

  beautiful local beach -- great for sunbathing, taking a dip, or simply walking. nature preserves and information on-site. great road alongside beach to run, bike or walk. wish the walk were dog-friendly but hopefully in the future! beautiful sunsets too :)

  Nice walk out to Gamecock Cottage. Also good for biking. Good for families.

  Beautiful views, even better if you have a small boat or canoe to explore everything up close. Lots of neat wildlife to look at as well. Great for children
