::Beautiful park. Many winding trails. The entrance from Vets highway is inadequate, but that just means less people there. Trails are flat and easy but not well marked. No facilities from Vets hwy.

::It was a relaxing nature walk. It was peaceful, quiet and so natural. The kids enjoyed the fish hatchery. Walking by the pond is a great way to relax. It's not a picnic spot so you are not allowed to take in food. We did have fun walking through the trails and listening to the sounds of birds.

::Nice park. The trails around the lake and by the river are great. Beautiful views and a great feeling of being in nature. There are also long hiking trails here also but they are very wide and flat. They're great for horse back riding but a little boring after a while for hiking. This park is a preserve so you will be limited to hiking and horseback riding only. No bicycles. No pets. No picnics. No camping. Great place for trail running. Nice for a few hours of hiking. Lots of wildlife. Great photography opportunities.

::Great place to take a walk and there is a blind overlooking the lake that's great for wildlife photography if that's your thing. Just be aware they close at 4pm year round it isn't open until dusk like most other state parks.

::Wonderful place to walk and clear your head of everyday worries. Enjoy ba stroll.by the stream on your way to the Dish Hatchery. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a snack and water. Some trails can be challenging because they are Sandy. For beginners, stick to the Red or Yellow trail. There are restrooms in the main house. Be sure to "go" before to hit the trails.
