  I arrived late in the day, they close at 5 and I arrived at 4:15 so what i wanted was sold out, but i got a cherry danish and it was amazing. Nice and soft with plenty of cherry and other toppings. As an FYI I don't think they accept credit cards.

  The best traditional bakery in the area. Great hard and soft rolls, breads, and pastries. Terrific German specialties like apple strudel and 'black and white' cookies. Whenever I travel upstate to visit family, the relatives insist I bring pastries from the Yorktown Pastry Shop.

  Amazing Napoleon sheet cakes, we order for special occasions, also love their melt aways, amazing almond horns, eclairs and cream puffs with real custard and everything else they make. You can't go wrong.

  This is a top notch bakery with many excellent products. All this is possible because of the baker Steve. If he does not have an apprentice baker we are soon in for the demise of one of the last of the old school bakeries. I'm crying at the possibility.
