  Yorktown Cycles is undoubtably one of the best bike shops in Northern Westchester. The staff is very nice, extremely helpful and even if you know your stuff there's always a disparity of knowledge and you end up learning a thing or two. In addition to being a great shop, it is always nice to see how active they are in the community supporting road and mountain bike events – they also have some staff members who are quite competent on a bike, they put what they sell and service to the test.

  The staff at Yortkown Cycles never lets me down. As an avid cyclist, they are always there to help. They provide honest advice, fair pricing and great service. I’d highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable and personable bike shop.

  If you want to have a great experience and be treated in a way that makes you feel comfortable and cared for, go buy your bike at Yorktown Cycles. Tommy and his staff do their best to set you up with exactly the perfect fit and match to your budget. I will not shop for anything bike related or service any of my bikes anywhere but Yorktown. Great for the pro level rider down to your kids first push bike.

  Best of both worlds: rider owned & operated, and yet still very customer centric, friendly, and attentive. Staff do their best to accommodate everyone down the last detail, even on busy weekends - though best to go on a weekday, if you can. Their inventory is consistently the latest and greatest, and mechanic experience is second to none. The shop is also always clean and orderly, making browsing fun and easy, and guidance on bikes and gear is always clear and insightful. Quality shops like this will keep online retailers from taking over the bike biz. Very kid friendly, too.

  I've been going to this shop for years. The owner, Tom, is fantastic and amazingly helpful. He has actually talked me into a lower priced purchase because it was better for my needs, which speaks volumes about his priorities. The crew at the shop is great with my kids and helping fit them for their bikes and things. (This is one of my kids' favorite places to go on the weekends.) They have a sweet bike exchange program for kids as well. I've sent numerous of my friends there for themselves or their kids and all have thanked me for the recommendation and been complimentary about the service. Proximity to the shop was actually a factor in where I chose to live. I can't rave about the shop enough.
