::This is a great community gym located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The cardio and strength rooms are well equipped and they have a million dollar view of Los Angeles! The entire facilities including the steam, sauna, and locker rooms are super clean. The gym's monthly fee is reasonable. Also, this facility provides community teens with free services such as resume assistance, etc.

::Friendly staff, fairly clean facilities, newish equipment (lifefitness, hammer strength). Only one power rack, plenty of benches and inclines for the arm work outers. Stretching areas leave a bit to be desired. Expansive locker rooms. $2 to park in the garage directly under the Y if you authenticate your ticket at the front desk of the Y. Side note, my wife has paid $0 if you authenticate your ticket right as you walk out of the gym.

::Just an update. This particular YMCA has changed their towel service policy. You must now pay $10/mo for a fresh towel upon entering. Otherwise very nice services and lots of parking in the parking structure if you have a vehicle with low enough height clearance.
