  The food here is awesome! Reminds me of good home cooking 😁 and they have beautiful antiques as well! Definitely recommend!

  Like going home for a meal. Go often enough and you are greeted like a family member. Food is good basic food, nothing fancy, but freshly cooked and real.

  I don't live in The Heights and hadn't been here in awhile. It's still a great place for lunch but parking can be dicey. I had an enormous cheeseburger, fries, and a soda for less than $9 and it was served quickly. Bonus: the antique vendor that occupies half the space. I found 2 pieces of vintage pottery to add to my collection, reasonably priced and in great condition.

  This is a great true authentic 1920's retro place in the Houston Heights! Yale Street Grill in in a former "drug store" building. It has been in operation continually since the 1920". Nothing faked. Great food at great prices! On Yale Street two blocks before 19th Street. You MUST go!!!
