::My stay was quick but nevertheless magnificent. From the drivers/bell boys, front desk team, room service, and concierge staff it was an incredible experience from beginning to end. Everyone was exceptionally courteous and welcoming. I have stayed in many hotels throughout my life and the attention to detail at the XV Beacon is second to none. Do yourself the favor, treat yourself, and book here, you will not regret it. Without question, they are in a league of their own.

::XV Beacon is my favorite Boston boutique hotel. Service is excellent, staff are fantastic, and the property is beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The fire places are lovely and make the rooms cozy and relaxing. The sound system in each room completes the warm atmosphere. The car service is a nice benefit if you need a drop off in-town. MOOO is great and there are so many other wonderful restaurants near by. The location is perfect and there are plenty of activities in walking distance. We have come here for 2 special birthday weekends and the concierge has made that extra special both times. We will be back, for sure.

::We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is centrally located, but tucked away on a quiet street. The staff is extremely nice, polite and efficient. The room is cozy and the bed & pillow are so comfortable. Moo restaurant's room service is also delicious. We loved everything here!

::We were excited to stay at XV Beacon. The reviews are amazing, and the hotel looks fantastic. Given the reputation and the price, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were disappointed. There were no doormen. No one to help with luggage. The receptionist was on a call for 10 minutes and ignored us. When he finally got off, he rushed through the check-in process. The room itself was lovely. Clean and well-appointed, with modern, tasteful dรฉcor. It's what you would expect to find in this class of hotel. The location is great, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and happy to help. As with all things, details matter, and it's in the details that XV Beacon fails to execute. There are no tea bags in the room. Coffee was there, but no tea? That's bizarre and feels cheap. When I asked for tea bags, I was told we had to order them from room service. The drain stopper in the tub got stuck and wouldn't pop back up. There was no obvious way to turn off the obnoxiously bright light on the bar. The TV wouldn't turn on unless ALL of the overhead lights were on. The noise from the street was loud and went late into the night and started back up early in the morning. Maybe the rooms could use a bit more soundproofing. The room we stayed in was advertised as having a view of Boston Common, but at best, you could see a few trees. That description needs to be adjusted to be clear. There was a very strong smell of marijuana during much of our time there, both in the halls, the elevator and eventually into our room. This was off-putting and just left us even more frustrated and disappointed. I communicated all of these concerns and more to XV Beacon, and they acknowledged the problems and promised to correct them and do better next time, but I don't feel that we got our money's worth out of our stay and canโt recommend anyone run the risk of having the same experience that we did.

::This is a lovely boutique hotel with some nice amenities. We were celebrating a special birthday and this hotel set the perfect tone for our stay in Boston. The location is great for it's proximity to the North End and all the tourist attractions of Boston. I highly recommend.
