  Nice location- close to public transportation and Old Town Alexandria. Also close to the train tracks, but I didn't notice any trains at night. The room was clean and comfortable, although the sheets for the pullout bed were noticeable rougher/stiffer than those for the bed in the main bedroom.

  Enjoyed the relaxed feeling of a smaller resort. Daphne,one if the concierges was incredbly helpful. Access to the metro and the free King St bus made whole trip more enjoyable

  We try to stay here every time we're in the DC area. Love this place. In the heart of Old Town and within a short walk of the Old Town history and so many great places to eat. In addition there's a Metro station right across the street making access to the District breeze. It's fun to just walk the streets and see all the historic houses. The facility is first rate and we always enjoy our stay here. If you're a Wyndham owner this place is a must for a trip to DC.

  Since I was born in D.C., Alexandria has always been close to my heart. This Wyndham resort is beautiful and conveniently close to the District. You can chose to drive to the Mall or take their offered bus. It's just far enough away to let you breathe. Wonderful shopping and so many top plate dining choices to make. Relaxing enough to walk through cobblestone streets to find book stalls! The resort offers many amenities including two pools, full kitchens, spa like bathrooms. I especially like the kitchen layout and the linens for the bed and bath. And, you have the option of buying kitchen utensils and bedding through their website. Go and stay a week...youll want to go back.

  Great location. Very convenient walk to the metro and great shopping and dining! There was what we were told was water damage to the property when we checked in. We were not aware of this when we booked. There were parts of walls etc that looked like they were under construction downstairs. The exercise room was unavailable for the duration of our stay. There was what looked like a large water spot on the ceiling of our dining room and what looked like mold in our shower area and a significant amount of what looked like other people's hair scattered throughout the bathroom. We would have liked to see more attention to housekeeping at this property. Front desk staff was nice. The amenities like tea, coffee etc. were nice on a cold day.
