  DO NOT RECOMMEND! They would not scrape plaque from my teeth in a routine cleaning. They billed me for services that I had every reason to believe would be covered by my insurance. They X-rayed me repeatedly without the lead apron (by a person who appeared to be very inexperienced). CATCH 22: Was unable to receive standard cleaning service due to how they schedule staff. I was told I could only come in one day of the week b/c that is when the dentist who took my insurance was in. At the appointment, the dentist, Dr. Rao told me I had to come back in for a cleaning b/c the hygienist wasn't in the office on days he worked. At the "cleaning" appointment, I was told they would only floss and polish my teeth b/c the dentist who took my insurance wasn't there. Basically, they refused to scrap plaque from my teeth at a routine cleaning. Also, Woodpoint Dental billed me for my routine visit, which my insurance covers 100% after a $10 co-pay. I paid the co-pay at the time of service and provided them with my insurance card; I also had Woodpoint Dental selected as my Primary Care Dentist with my insurance company. After service, my insurance company told me Dr. Rao wasn't with their program. Although, on three occasions Dr. Rao was referred to as "the dentist who takes your insurance" by employees of Woodpoint Dental. The bill I received also showed no mention of the $10 I had already paid. The only reason I had gone to Woodpoint Dental was because I found them through my insurance company's website, and they had some great online reviews. I also had a few patronizing interactions with Dr. Peritore. I could go on and tell you so much more, but it is very time consuming to write these types of reviews. I hope I have provided you with enough information to make an informed decision about this dental office.

  Clean, sterile and affordable facility. They worked well with my insurance and flex spending. Able to obtain an emergent appt within an hour when needed. Ample parking. I'll be back and would not hesitate to refer here.

  Finally a dentist that not only checks my teeth but is also interested in my overall health. At first I felt it strange that Dr. Peritore was asking me about how I felt in general and about sourness and alertness. However, after a few more minutes of discussion he made it all clear. It turns out I have sleep apnea and after getting my sleep mouth guard I must say my life has changed. If you are tired of being treated like a number and want someone to truly care then this is the place for you

  This office is awesome! Totally a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE! The staff was very professional and kind. I have a fear of going to the dentist and had not been in quite a while. I immediately felt at ease upon entering the office and was treated with respect and great care. The assistant was friendly and kept checking on me to make sure I was okay, and Dr. Peritore himself took the time to get to know me and address any fears and concerns as well as make plans for my future dental treatment. I left knowing I had made a great decision to come here and have decided to make Woodpoint Dental my dental home. Plus, the front desk staff was willing to work with me on a payment schedule, given I have no dental insurance. I am so grateful and impressed.
