::Beautiful place in an unexpected area. The staff was nice and very helpful. Was there for a volunteer project and had a blast. Will definitely be back to see the fruit of my labor =]

::I started volunteering here. Itβs so great to be out in nature.

::So it's a very pretty, very little place to visit but two things: the parking sucks and the mosquitos are UNREAL. We went in the late afternoon, wore Off! And still got mauled by the little bastards. We're pretty avid hikers, we visit state parks regularly and it was shocking how dense the mosquito population was.

::The Woodlands Gardenis a great little green spot in the city, walking distance from many nearby businesses including the Decatur MARTA station. In my opinion the best part is the free admission - you're free to drop by at any time during the daylight hours and catch a breath fresh air.

::Beautiful hidden forest in Decatur. They have plants labels and educational guides, well-maintained trails, and lots of places to sit and have lunch. They also have frequent events (yoga, music, bird walks, workshops), with the forest's natural beauty as a backdrop.
