::I went there the place is run by the cliques... each clique has it's own area to hang. If you are not with the "in" crowd, then you are screwed. Just like high school. When we left a girl called out in the snottyest way "leaving so soon"!

::I was approached by a bouncer, for being " too agressive" with my gay male friend, when it came to dancing. I had two drinks and she told me that I was "too intoxicated" and "agressive". We were dancing. Surprisingly suppressive for what I figured was a safe place. We left R Place, to come back for a more relaxed environment, but were met with a negative face instead. Bartenders were great. Security was lame. Won't be back.

::The bartender makes great drinks and the DJ definitely knows her jams! This has become a regular spot for me and my gals especially taco Tuesday! If you're looking for a good Gay bar this needs to be on your list!

::I love the Rose! Especially Taco Tuesday - everyone is so welcoming (especially to the gay men...ahem Christine Davis not sure what rose you were at) and friendly. Here every week :) come experience the oldest Lesbian bar in seattle and say hi.

::Men, specifically gay men are not welcome here! I know the owners and I have patronized this bar for YEARS. This bar claims to be a safe space, yet unfortunately I have seen them repeatedly treat men, specifically gay men, unfairly. I have always tried to defend them, but alas, must admit, it’s just true. We all definitely want to support this bar. But they make it so hard to love them.
