  I've always had a pleasant experience here. The checkout lines are never to long and the employees are always very helpful. I go to the seafood counter often and am very picky about what's fresh and what's not. They help walk me though it and provide solid recommendations.

  I just got sternly reprimanded by the checkout person for buying 15 items in the quick check out line. I was told by her that she would check me out "this time" but in the future I would have to have 10 items or less. All of my items fit in half a paper bag. There was not a person in line behind me. So my advice to you if you really feel you have to shop at this high handed, over priced grocery store is to make sure you count those items in your cart. But I'm finished with it--it's gone to hell anyway, and why put up with this.

  Nice premium grocery store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Lots of tables to dine or have your coffee. Ample parking. Free arcade games for children. Clean restrooms.

  It's disappointing that the store can be out of stock on sale items so frequently and today at only 3:30p on a Monday afternoon...not even the after-work-rush... In Chicago this is one of the best layouts from an ease of shopping experience so I keep coming back periodically. But the out of stock issue and consistently super slow checkout keeps me going back to the one in West Loop. You can't shop west loop without seeing people stocking shelves or cashiers moving so fast.

  Great place for fresh organic products. I like hitting the hot bar and salad bar. The meat department always has a nice wide selection of choices and are reasonably priced. One of my favorite sections is the cheese department, the variety alone will make any Cheese and wine lover happy, they always have a rotation of different cheeses on sale and a knowledgeable staff makes the experience even better.
