::One doesn't "stay" at this motel for the amenities. This is a motel that is convenient and very affordable when one wants to "discuss" certain business arrangements with one of the local "entrepreneurs" who ply the nearby streets at night. More than a few Backpage and Craigslist "entrepreneurs" also likely made this motel their base of operations. Soap and shampoo are provided in the rooms, but bring your own lubricant and "rain coats".

::Our swim team decided to gather here after a championship meet per a parent's recommendation. I will say that it was the best place for all of us to gather. Although we only took a quarter of our team which age group spanned from 8 - 17, the picnic tables, woodsy area, and deck overlooking the playground area was perfect. It was a bit confusing on how to order but once we "read" the cover of the menu we knew what to do. The food did come out in bits and pieces as mentioned in one of the previous reviews but for the most part everyone got their food and although it was a little caotic the servers were very nice. We were able to see lot of the food that was on the menu because our group was so large. The mussels were well seasoned and delicious, the crab cakes were big and meaty and not bready, the shrimp was a very large size and seasoned well (beware they are covered in onions), and the crabs were also very tasty (so I was told) and the cream of crab soup was very good. I have passed this place several times and not recognized it so I asked the young lady at the counter how long they had been there. She informed me 6 yrs. She was very polite and gave me their hours. All in all I felt like I was at home with company in my backyard. I enjoyed my meal, the atomosphere and the people I was with which is hard to say these days. Everyone else on the team was happpy too. Thanks White House Motel for your hospitalitiy

::alright, i read the reviews before i went here, to make sure it was suitable or not. when i got there i was expecting the manager to be a large white man with a fat gut, wearing a mountain dew-themed tank top covered in grease stains and sandwich crumbs from like last week. upon discovering my room, the stench of dead animals and dried semen filled the air. honestly i think the fumes in that room might have altered my sanity. HOWEVER, this motel is a GREAT place to stay if you plan on: shooting hard drugs into your body, beating your family, having relations with prostitutes, or a place to crash with your southeastern asian friends after a long night of gambling in a shady, smoke filled back room of hunan express. 4 stars no more no less.

::I didn't think it was as bad as other people have said. Mind you, it is very cheap, so don't expect the Ritz-Carlton, but my room was clean (a bit smoke smelling, but clean). I stayed there while my apartment was being fumigated for bedbugs, and I was paranoid. Therefore, I spent a long time checking every possible surface for signs of bedbugs, and didn't find any.
