  If I could take the meat I purchased back I would, I'm not from the Charlotte area and I was very disappointed in the service and the food. Once I got in my car and started driving I had an overwhelming smell of bleach and now I'm in praying that scent is from the bags and not because my frozen not fresh meat was rinsed near bleach. The older gentleman that served me was quite pushy in the manner that he wanted me to allow him to make my decision for me. I asked him to weigh my meat and he insisted that it was the amount I wanted. This may be a regular practice for your normal customers, however I shop at a locally owned and operated meat market in Goose Creek SC for years and the meat is actually fresh not frozen and the staff is always helpful. I won't be returning nor will I send my daughter who just moved to Charlotte to frequent this establishment.

  Great place to stock up on your food if you are on a budget I been a loyal customer for years best place to go to get your meats. They treat u like family and customer service is excellent

  I honestly have to say westside meats is probably the best butcher shop I’ve been to. The staff is always courteous and quick to take your order. The meat is always done the way you want it if you forget to ask they will always ask you how you want it. I’ve never had an issue with my order. If you had a higher rating I would definitely give them a 10 keep up the good work I will always be a loyal customer!!! Don’t change a thing!

  Super friendly staff and great products. The freshly sliced bacon is the best ever! Great prices, too.
