  Based on reviews, we decided to have my daughter’s Baby Shower in their private event room upstairs. We immediately liked the room for the event; well lit and comfortable. We booked our date; the staff was friendly, accommodating and on top of the details without being intrusive. The Brunch selections we made were delicious and plentiful (lemon chicken and pesto primavera pasta among the choices). We finished off with Italian pastries and a cake we brought for the event. As much as we loved the details above, what made the event a joy to plan and have at West Main Kitchen is the feeling you get when you realize that this is your party and the staff is there to make it happen the way you invision it. Thank you WMK for a truly amazing party!

  It has been 4 months since we contacted West Main about not honoring a less than year old $140 gift certificate to Anthony's cooking school. The website Dutchess county tourism claims that West Main Cooking School is Sister location of West Main Kitchen & Bar in Wappingers Falls. Facebook still claims they will be offering cooking classes at the restaurant in the future but this has yet to happen. We politely asked for a refund and were told that the two aren't connected even though it is the same owner and the gift certificate was purchased at the restaurant. They also refused to respond to our report of this incident to the Better Business Bureau. This is a poor way to conduct business in a local community and is not acceptable customer service. We only want a cooking class or a refund since there have not been classes offered since September.

  Tremendous menu, we are already planning our next visit because we wanted to order everything! From the local beer selection, imaginative cocktails... Pickle juice anyone?....to the yummy short rib grilled cheese and a HUGE ribeye cheesecake sandwich, just Wow!!!

  I'd gone to West Main Kitchen for a b-day party which was held upstairs in their event room and we loved the food so much we decided to come back and try dinner. Oh my goodness, I loved the menu selection, it's modern, elegant and trendy. This is the food that you'd get in the City. The decor has that industrial feel. The outside doesn't give off the modern-look, so it was a wonderful surprise upon entering the dinning area.

  Met two owners, really great people. First time in. Dinning room was clean, nicely setup. Wait staff was excellent.Food was extremely good. I will be back. All around great experience. Bill & Christine
