Trendy place with good food and mimosas. You can just come in for coffee or for a meal. We waited for a long time for a table for brunch on Sunday. I think they were short handed because they were empty tables available. I wouldn't go back if I had to wait as long again. The service was good, but not worth the wait.

West Egg Cafe is a great breakfast/brunch location. The standard egg/bacon option is always good if you're not big on breakfast. The shrimp and grits are AWESOME. However, it's a super busy restaurant on the weekend. You either need to get there extra early or prepare for a long wait.

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced! We walked in, got seated, the waitress brought us drinks and never came back!!!! Beware! We went to the front and told the hostess, she was eating food and stared at me like she was lost! Looks good from a far, but far from good. Apparently the waitresses talking to each other is more important than servicing customers!!!!

Great breakfast spot; roomy, nice menu and good service. I had an egg sandwich on a biscuit and it was delicious, as was the coffee. Neighborhood is interesting, seems like it's transitioning to a trendy spot. Will definately be back! Pic is from bar area - dining room is open, large and comfortable.

Visiting from out of state and West Egg Cafe was recommended by local friends. The server was extremely friendly. Wife loved her coffee and my unsweetened iced tea was freshly brewed. The garlic grits were amazing, the best grits I've ever had on my travels. The biscuit was tasty but the vegetarian sausage was a bit dry (though tasty) and the gravy needed more seasoning which is why I only gave this place 4 stars.
