  We highly recommend Welbilt Home Improvements. Since 2002, Jack Debrot and Welbilt have done numerous jobs on our house (built porches x2, total kitchen re-model, total basement and office creation, multiple bathroom re-models, interior design and painting, boiler installment). Jack is the ultimate professional: he will give us several options, be honest about the cost and will give us timelines. He is reliable, honest, decent and fair. We have always find his work to be high quality. We highly recommend Welbilt for big and small jobs and will continue to use him again and again.

  Big picture sounds good, but issues arise in the details. Initially, Jack seemed knowledgeable and experienced. The project got started off well enough, but as the entire project started coming together, items that should have been fixed or completed during the beginning created issues with the end result. I wound up with uneven floors, molding that looks unfinished, lighting that looks out of place. His assistant, Jerry, does most of the work and any speciality work (plumbing, electrical, etc.) was also sub-contracted out to others who also had less experienced people doing the actual work. Cleanup consisted of using an old shopvac. I was left with lots of dust, scuffs and minor damage to areas inside and even outside of the actual work area. If you are looking for a contractor who cares for your home as much as you do and is an expert to help guide you through the details, you should look elsewhere.
