  Do not go to this office!!!! They will tell you one price, then try to squeeze you for more afterwards. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. It's a mystery how they managed to stay in business for so long. If you must use them, MAKE SURE you get everything in writing before the actual work. What a horrible way to run a business.

  I went to Weiss and Chassen on a recommendation from my dentist in Pelham, NY for an immediate root canal on a back molar today. They took me the same afternoon and I think it might have been one of the best experiences I've had in a dentist's chair for anything more than a cleaning. Dr. Chassen was extremely sensitive to signs that I was in pain and numbed me so well that I never felt more than a pinch. I was in and out of the chair in an hour for a complete root canal! One of the best dental experiences I've ever had and I have had a LOT. I have 3 bridges, and had a few caps and fillings over the years. The office assistants were all very nice and the equipment is all state-of-the-art. I was very happy with my appointment. [And on a side-note, someone mentioned in another comment that there might be some racism going on at this office. I was shocked to read that because I am a black woman and I felt totally respected and did not sense anything of the kind.]

  This is the most unprofessional dentist office. They rescheduled me 15 minutes before my appointment when i was literally on my way. Then when arrived to the appointment 15 minutes early they made me wait 1 hour for a 2 minutes x-ray just to tell me to come back to get work performed. They are extremely under staffed only one dentist and one assistant. there was no other staff to attend to me while he worked on another patient. They appear to be racist as when i complained about the unprofessionalism the dentist told me that they been in service for 40 years and that i should see a dentist in my neighborhood if i was not satisfied with their service. he didn't even ask my concerns. I believe if i was Caucasian instead of African American like most of his patients in his predominantly non black neighborhood then he would have atlease listened to me but guess because i was black my concerns didnt matter.

  They left a piece of an instrument in my tooth and never informed me of it. My tooth got infected and had to be removed. I ended up losing a tooth and having to pay for an implant. Their negligence cost me

  The worst experience I've ever had with any clinic. And I don't say that lightly. They rescheduled me frequently and on short notice. The staff were very annoyed by any questions and Dr. Weiss is without a doubt the worst experience I had with a doctor, ever. He refused to answer questions was rude aggressive and botched two roots canals which led me to lose the tooth after so much bone loss. This is criminal! I would never want to falsely accuse someone of something so hayneous as this but I researched him and discovered dozens of reviews similar to mine dating back several years. After being sent back for the third time to fix a root canal, he refused to answer any questions or give any proper documentation, his staff denied me any letters for work or proof of my visit. They gave me two ibuprofens in a tiny Manila folder and told me to go. Unprofessional and hostile environment. DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF OR ANY LOVED ONE GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOURS/THEIR HEALTH.
