::Love this library. The staff are great and the location is perfect. Only negative about this place is no overnight drop box.

::This is a friendly neighborhood library. They have a nice selection of books and a great used book store in the "cellar" downstairs.

::For some reason Google Maps only shows the "Library" part at this location, but the true gem is the used bookstore in the basement. It's called The Book Cellar and is absolutely fantastic: consider this - it's a non-profit store, all stock is donated by locals - specifically, Upper East Side locals - the same people you hear coughing in the Met Opera. And the prices are just too good to be true - 1st ed 1st printing Name of the Rose (HCDJ) for $1? 1st American ed Winnie the Pooh for 25? 1st ed dust jacket Little Prince for 40? Henry Clarke illustrated Poe (with DJ in pristine condition) for 50? I try to go every week, and at least once a month find something extraordinary. Twelve thumbs up.
