  Wax is my go-to! A Denver institution. Not the quickest on new releases, but eventually they’ll get stocked. I still go here for new vinyl but it’s also one of the best for used vinyl as they really specialize in it. Doesn’t hurt when they’ve been in the game for as long as they have. Including supporting some incredible Denver bands back in the day such as The Young Weasles. And I should promote this probably but... this is the best option for RSD.

  Went in for record store day. I asked if they had a specific one that released that day. They said that it was saved for someone who called ahead. So they couldn't sell it to me even though i was physically there. I was pretty disgusted with that. These sort of practices are not allowed on record store day and i do not think that they should be a participant if you can call ahead to reserve a limited release. I will take my business elsewhere, as there are 3 other much better record stores within a couple miles of this place.

  I disagree with it being the best place to shop for vinyl records. There is NO parking anywhere close and the inside is FILTHY and falling apart with wood floors and mats that have NEVER been cleaned. I only went there to try and sell vinyl records which they said I had to come after 1 pm to do. They only bought 3 records and paid 5 bucks. Your completion of Twist and Shout is way better!

  Denver Landmark owned by a very cool man. 30+ yr customer. You will have a High Fidelity experience when you shop here (minus Jack Black and John Cusack)

  Authentic, been-around-for-decades type of store. It feels a bit dingy, but I don't think I'd like shopping for records in a sterile, boring environment. Dinginess is part of the character of the place. The second you walk in, you feel like you're in the right place. They have thousands of records, which seems overwhelming, but they are extremely organized. A great mix of new and used records. I stopped there this afternoon to pick up some Christmas records; Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole. Old records like that range from $4 to $8. Very affordable, and records are in great condition.
