::Don't bother coming here just go to Ebay, because that appears to be their favored ripped off model. Waited in the bad weather today for Record Door Day. The first ten-ish people in line appeared to have a system worked out. They went in swooping up the majority of the most desired records which included getting multiple copies in hand per each people then shuffling them out to each other while the last guys in the group blocked the line from near the records. Makes me wonder how much the store owners participated or are just allowing this unsavory business practice.

::This place is legendary. Great selection of CDs and vinyl. I only wish they had a larger dance selection.

::Wax Trax has been around forever because they're so awesome. I've been a customer here for almost 20 years and still come back because their selection of vinyl is so impressive. Despite the fact that collecting vinyl has become so popular now, they still have an impressive collection of oldies and rarities. Over the years I have bought originals by Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, Cream and more. We recently got a live Smiths album and a rare demos version of Depeche Mode imported from Belgium, which were both fantastic! I really do miss Across the Trax though, there has never been such an awesome rock memorabilia store in Denver. I must say, that the hipster attitude seems to have gotten worse, lol. It's no big deal though, hopefully it will pass.

::Wax Trax rules. I went in there a few weeks ago and in the Vinyl store they were playing Hawkwind's s/t debut LP from 1970 on vinyl. I'm still singing Mirror of Illusion to myself today. This place makes my life more enjoyable.
