::I kinda hate the music but the sashimi is so good and priced well enough that I keep coming back anyway. My favorite affordable sushi in NYC.

::Very trendy. Good food. Large portions. A little pricey.

::Great sushi! Atmosphere was awesome, staff was frendly and courteous, drinks were delicious, and sushi came out great. Will definitely be returning.

::Watawa is the only Sushi restaurant I trust. I'm not saying the other restaurants nearby are dirty or have poor quality food, but I get nervous eating raw fish from random places. I've been eating at watawa for the past decade and order at least once a week. I have never been served a questionable piece of raw seafood. The chefs and staff seem to take great pride in the quality of their food and I trust the sushi will be great quality and fresh and the restaurant will be clean and inviting. The layout and decor of the restaurant captures the true Japanese sushi experience and the staff is very cordial and helpful. The reason I did not give them five stars is because some items seem expensive, especially to somebody on a very tight budget. PS. Try the Pauline Roll, thank me later...

::More of a western crowd not as Asian a place as you would think. American style sushi not particularly outstanding sometimes they use lots of sauce on their rolls or sushi. Don’t recall daily special fishes or dishes. Non Japanese sushi chefs. Good for a quick bite.
