::Jeffrey and Michael love music. This place is here to share their love of the cultural and human phenomenon of music - the celebration of humanity and history that is our civilization and our individual experience. Wall of Sound is here to brighten your life. Every visit, I find new and unique sounds. A wonderful record store. Truly a gem.

::for 26 years the only place to go to find unknown and beautiful music!
Jacob Hagen
::This record shop has the best selection for the truly discerning listener. If you care about music and you care about a rare and unique selection, this is the place for you.
Jefferson Petrey
::The greatest of the Seattle underground record stores! Far-flung, left field, experimental, electronic, metal, world, jazz, psych, industrial, noise, folk, indie rock, modern composers, krautrock, hip-hop... if it's off the beaten path Wall of Sound has it! Great prices on used, rare and out of print vinyl too, you'll be glad you didn't pay the kinds of prices found on ebay or Discogs. A curated, gem of a shop though small, has a highly qualitative selection from the non-commercial spectrum of every genre. They've survived the gentrification of two neighborhoods and relocated to become better over the years. Incredible to have a resource like this left on Capitol Hill! For those who remember the shop in Belltown in the 90's, they combined forces when Michael of Ohm Records became partial proprietor with Jeffery, making for a perfect synergy of the best of the best. Irreplaceable resource for everyone who wants to dig deeper into the musical unknown.
