::Pharmacists are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. This location also has a bigger selection for other goods than I think you typically see in most Walgreens or pharmacy type stores.

::I called the pharmacy at 2:40 to check on the status of a prescription for my sick 4 month old and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I came into the store an hour later the windows to the pharmacy were closed, there was no sign posted and I was confused as the recording on the phone stated that the pharmacy was open until 9 pm. I approached the front of the store and asked the cashier what the hours for the pharmacy was, thinking maybe they were closed for a late lunch. The cashier told me they were closed due to only one technician working and that they were currently only able to do pick ups. When I said that’s what I needed he payed for the manager. The manager then gave me a scripted “due to unforeseen circumstances the pharmacy will be closed today”. When I said the cashier had just told me they were still doing pickups she said shortly “no the pharmacy is closed”. I have worked in customer service for ten years, I understand that things happen but at the same time you should do your best to attempt to find a solution whether that be calling over to a different Walgreens to see if they can fill my daughter’s prescription ANYTHING other than a rehearsed, effortless, and disingenuous monologue. I’m incredibly disappointed that my daughter will have to spend another day sick and without medicine.

::Getting one medicine should not take 5 days when they have it in stock. I've waited for approval, my doctor has called them, and I'm 2 days w out a medicine that needs to be taken regularly. Thank you so much pharmacy staff for not doing your jobs well and for making me feel poorly.

::Paul really helped me out today!! I was from out of town with a huge migraine and wanted to enjoy our last day in DC with my kids. He was able to promptly sell me one tablet of my headache meds to get me through the day! And as an added bonus, he gave me one 50% off coupon that was currently valid, as one pill was $25! This Walgreens, and Paul, saved the day!!
