::This review is only for the pharmacy department. The pharmacy never picks up the phone, no matter what time you call, morning, afternoon, evening, or the middle of the night. It's a problem with all Walgreens pharmacies, but this particular pharmacy, the one in the 24 hour store in Elmwood Park, is just absolutely horrible. I don't blame the people working in in the store because I know its not their fault that they are understaffed and don't have enough help. Unfortunately, it's the culture at Walgreens. If my mother's insurance did not force her to go to Walgreens, I would have continued to get all her prescriptions filled at our local independent pharmacy. The front store, however, is absolutely fantastic!

::Extremely slow service with long wait lines. This pharmacy is severely under staffed.

::Manager Patel is rude and racist. Be careful going in here if you of color. Also, train your staff to work more efficiently instead of allowing them to use cell phones while on duty and ignoring customers who are in need of help or waiting on ridiculously long lines. Step it up and don't discrimate!

::Worst possible service at the pharmacy! Had my doctor call in a prescription at 8:30 PM. I called them to ensure they received the prescription. It took them more than half hour to get back to me, only to tell me it will take half hour to fill it. An hour and a half later, they didn't have my prescription ready. Worse still they couldn't locate it. This was medication for a two year old child who had a stomach virus. Never ever again!
