  My husband and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for our anniversary in 2018. Very nice suite. Premier Terrace King. We were politely greeted with valet service as soon as we pulled around, they also unloaded and took our bags to our room. When I called and booked the suite, I told them we were celebrating our anniversary, and a complimentary bottle of champagne was brought to our room shortly after settling in. The room has a deep soaking tub, a large shower (single, non adjustable head), enclosed toliet area (not too enclosed lol), and mini bar with snacks, mini fridge (too full to put any of your own items inside) and a nice size safe in a drawer above the mini fridge. Room service was quick and you have the option to pay cash or put it on the room. The room was surprisingly quiet, just hearing the occasional siren. I would definitely stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago again and would highly recommend a friend to stay.

  The Petite Marques was a great stop after shopping for some coffee and pastries. The menu for lunch also looked delicious as did happy hour drinks. The hotel is beautiful and near alot of shops. We will definitely be back next visit.

  Luxury and iconic hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. The staff are welcoming and attentive, greeting us by name on arrival and graciously refusing tips. Jermaine, Ernest and Ben couldn't have done more to make my stay enjoyable. From use of the town car, to making reservations and recommendations for local eateries, the level of service is offered is exemplary. The rooms are generous, and the linens luxurious. An in room balcony will keep you cool in summer, but for the true experience, come back for the winter months when the tree is in the courtyard, switch on the fireplace, and warm your toes.

  This used to be my favorite hotel in the country, but they changed the lobby area (cafe) downstairs which used to be really nice. Also the bar here used to be amazing and cozy. Not the the new place is bad, it just does not have that same Chicago charm. Staff as always makes the place, they are great

  Location was perfect for accessing most of the things we wanted to see. It was close to public transit, so getting everywhere was easy if it was outside of walking distance. A house car was also available for places less easy to get to. Rooms were spectacular. Clean and spacious with amazing washrooms. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to come back to turndown service at the end of a long day. The spa was also a real highlight with the pool, exercise facility, steam room, and sauna. The host of jack black products was a nice plus to pamper myself after a workout. Service was top notch. From servers in the restaurant or cafe at the hotel, to concierge, the doormen, or another employee encountered in the hall. All were polite and friendly. Can't wait for my next visit!
