  The food was good, but there was a dog drinking water in the restaurant on the table from a regular glass. I understand that people have service animals and emotional dependency pets, but this should absolutely not be allowed! When asking the waitress about the dog, she said she had seen that lady and her dog in the restaurant before and went on as if nothing was wrong. Not going back there. #nothankyou

  I come here quite a bit with my boyfriend whenever he visits DC. It's one of his favourite restaurants in this area. Their gluten free bread is spectacular, so I can enjoy their sandwiches too. I ordered the Cuban sandwich the other day and its definitely the best item on the menu. Also, there's free parking on the weekends.

  We were just there hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee with dessert, and walked in to find a male & female employee arguing loudly. It took a while until someone came to acknowledge our presence. By then, we just wanted to bolt out. Where was management?

  Enjoyed a table outside with lunch food. I have eaten here before an will go again. Prices are not cheap but it is a safe area within Washington DC. My order was committed within minutes of arrival and shortly afterwards ready to pick up and consume outside at one of the many outside tables.

  I love Wagshal's. Their sandwiches are dope and I can could live exclusively off of them. The attached Deli seems really nice but it's too expensive for me. They have nice wine and can be suprisingly affordable and often have little tastings and samples. Fantastic lunch spot.
