::I've known Vinnie for 22 years since I was 8 years old, when Vinnie first got to Plainview, and my father used to take me along with him to get work done on his cars. Vinnie is not only honest, he's downright blunt. And that's what you need. A mechanic who is going to tell you what the real problem is, what you need, and what you don't need. He isn't going to waste his time fixing something on your car that doesn't need to be fixed, because if you kept coming back and paying him money and the same thing kept happening, eventually you wouldn't come back, and that's not what he wants. And that's why he's the best. He fixes your car right the first time. He stands by his work, and he doesn't BS you. Why? Because he doesn't have time! Anyone who's ever gone to him knows that he's constantly running around and doesn't have time to chit chat. Don't get mad if he doesn't drop everything to attend to your tire pressure light. He's a one man show and he focuses on getting his jobs done. He isn't rude, he just tells you what you need to hear. If he CAN'T get your car done, guess what? He tells you that! He doesn't make promises that he can't keep. And he doesn't get pissy if you can't wait, because he gets it. If you want someone to baby you and sell you dreams and deliver nightmares, go to a chain store or worse, the dealer. You go to Vinnie, you'll never go anywhere else. My parents have since moved to Florida and I moved out to Suffolk and I still bring both my car and my wife's car to him in Plainview. Don't blow it, go see Vinnie.
