  While visiting San Antonio, I found this wonderful little stained glass shop with beautiful, and reasonably priced hand-made bowls. They were so gorgeous that I had to get one. It was fairly large and only $30. Just to be cautious, I got the UPS shipping they offered. The lady working wasn't sure how much it would cost, and I thought it wouldn't be too much for a light weight, $30 bowl...we'll I was wrong! The shipping cost $68!!! More than twice the cost of the bowl itself. Had I know, or if the lady working at the shop could have given me an idea on the cost of the shipping, there's no way I would have had it shipped; I would have taken the risk of putting it in my luggage. Very disappointed that the shop couldn't give me any estimate for shipping cost. Now, every time I look at the bowl, all I see is a bunch of money wasted. I feel a little scammed. I guess if I were local, and not planning to ship anything, the shop would be nice...but wouldn't recommend buying/shipping anything unless you want to pay an arm and a leg.
