::Been riding the LR for over 4 years, 5 days a week, twice a day. Pros: Usually very prompt and reliable. Staff has always been professional and courteous. Cons: Too many drunks, druggies and other trash causing trouble. It's gotten worse recently, to the point that I feel unsafe. Hope Valley Metro addresses this problem.

::rode the light rail for the first time, easily took it home from the airport on Friday during rush-hour . The price was right and faster than if I drove.

::I got on the light rail chasing a Ponyta but the train left the station too fast and I lost it. Then when I got to Tempe I had to step off the train for a moment to catch a Mankey and they left without me. So rude.
Charles Dine
::I love the metro! America needs more rail! That said, there are a few gripes I have. I wish the metro was gate access controlled. The ticket agents hounding you for your pass at every other stop is annoying! Also, I think this would cut down on the un-ticketed abusers who often offend or abuse riders. It would make for a safer ride.

::It's public transportation, but it is very speedy and timely. I hope they expand to the West Valley soon, as Phoenix council members have been promising to do for years now..
