::I tried to make an appointment to get my shoulder taken care after a fall and waited for 20 minutes. After they answered they ask what the appointment was about. I explained the problem twice and they continued to ask the same questions and I thanked them and hung up.

::Father had a colonoscopy schedule. They called and said that we needed to arrive 1.5 hrs early. No one at check in could tell us why...we just got to sit in waiting area for 1.5 hrs. Completely inconsiderate of the patients and their time.

::Took my husband to get xrays on his elbow and did a cat scan it literally took 5 hours. Staff did not seem to care or have any compation or empathy for our veterans let alone my husband. One paticular nurse was so rude and litterly said if you leave we won't call you with your results and if you leave I cant help you it's would be on you. I was shocked at this response and we left. 35 minutes later we got a call with the results. I really think staff needs training and need to learn how to treat our veterans. They should be treated with the up most respect they should get 5 star Medical treatment. The way we were treated was so disappointed.

::After 5 days of migraines and neck pain I decided to go make sure I didn’t have a tumor or something coming apart in my head. Expected the worst considering I was going in for a “headache” and figured I would wait hours just to have them give me a horse ibuprofen and tell me to drink water. Their machines were down so I couldn’t get an MRI or CTscan but the experience was 5 stars none the less. I pretty much walked straight in, no stupid line of questioning, and Matt and Val were nice and made sure I was comfortable. They gave me some stuff in an IV (She stuck the vein first try)and even though it didn’t take care of the migraine, at least it didn’t get worse. Now that I’m signed up in Denver, a patient Liason called and made sure I had everything I need to go to primary care and hopefully try something new to put these things in remission.

::Checked in early only to find out my doctor didn’t do some paperwork for lab work we scheduled 6 months ago. Very irritating as I sit here not even knowing if I’ll get in for something I set 6 months ago. They make it tough for people with full-time jobs. I honestly thought the VA was getting their stuff together but I face the harsh reality they have a long ways to go. They are wasting a bunch of taxpayer’s money on us veterans. I know there has to be a better way than this.
