  I love Verrazano Deli. It’s great for the basics, (soda, water, chips and other snacks, etc.,) but they also have some finds in terms of used books and vinyl. I’ve purchased several plays and novels there, even a first edition of Tom Wolfe’s ‘Bonfire of the Vanities’. I also found a copy of Steve Martin’s first stand up record on good-condition vinyl. You never know what you’ll find at Verrazano Deli, but you’ll always get high quality service and a kind word from the two gentleman who run the place.

  This store, is The Most authentic grocery store I've ever seen! That doesn't mean its a good store... It just means that the owner is unlike any other grocery store owner you've seen. The owner sells snacks, beverages and the usual convenience store items, but he also sells antiques, used books, used music cassette tapes, old record discs, keep sake boxes, old magazines, old news paperpers, old toys, used personal goods and more! Its like a grocery store and a thrift shop combined.
