  The food was delicious and I got an awesome drink called Parker meridian. They gave perfect servings we had food to take home. The bread was buttery goodness. Melt in your mouth then add the garlic herb oil and you are in heaven. The service was amazing and fast. The only thing was the inside decor which was antique and old not my flavor but they have a beautiful sunroom with tables that was better suited for me. Great place must try

  We had a great meal here for our first dinner at Verde. The veal chop was delicious and enough for 2 people. Our waiter Michael was terrific. He was attentive without being overbearing and he made some great suggestions. We will be back.

  Comfort food for some comes in the form of mac and cheese, fried chicken, or maybe even a PB&J sandwich. For me, my comfort food is anything on Verde's menu. Their food is so dang tasty! There's a familiarity with their dishes (which, along with their cocktail menu, change seasonally) but the ingredients and garnishes are so well thought out that they elevate the dish to the next level. And don't EVEN get me started on their mixed drinks! Long story short, Verde is one of - if not - my favorite restaurants on the Island and we never fail to bring out-of-town guests and friends here. I've been hesitant to post a review for fear they'll get so busy and crowded that my husband and I will no longer be able to just walk in and sit at the bar. But the food, drinks, and service are so on point here that it'd be selfish - even criminal - of me to not post their awesomeness on here.

  It doesn't look like much on the outside but the inside is quite nice. The food is locally sourced and very well prepared. My parents had their 50th wedding anniversary celebration here and everyone raved about it. We've also been for dinner several times. Never had a negative experience. Great wine list and imaginitive cocktails too!

  One of the best restaurants on Long Island and THE BEST STEAK EVER. Had dinner at Verde on Satuday night and had amazing experience. Everything was delicious; bread, salad, cold cuts, steak and fish. Service was very attentive.Definitely recommend!!!
