Wowza! It is almost impossible to walk out with just one thing. We finally decided to get a piece of ricotta cheesecake and a canoli. We ended up finding a bench nearby to wolf it down because we couldn't wait any longer even though we were full! Staff was so patient and helpful even though they were busy late in the evening. We highly recommend!

Delicious, fresh, reasonably priced cakes, cookies, fruit tarts, etc. Wide selection of pastry. Be sure to take a number! I've been going here for many, many years and can't say there is any place better for my money. My favorite is their strawberry shortcake.

The BEST Black Forest cake I’ve had in the five Burroughs. The cream was delightfully light with sour cherries generously distributed throughout the layers, the crunchy chocolate flakes juxtaposed with the soft chocolate sponge and the base was surprisingly moist. For some reason my palate was agreeable with neither the Sicilian cheesecake nor the Zuppa Inglese; the former had a strip of ricotta sandwiched by two layers of sponge and some maraschino cherries sprinkled in, and the latter was a sponge rum cake with separate layers of vanilla and chocolate, of which I could barely taste anything but the alcohol.

I love this place. I've been going here since I was young and it never fails me. I took my wife here for the 1st time and she also fell in love with it. The pastries are phenomenal and the cakes are just out of this world. My wedding cake actually came from here, that's how great they were.

Amazing place. You walk in and feel in awe at the delicious dessert options in front of you. Each one looks better than the last. And they taste delicious too. So many different options that will fulfill any dessert lovers dreams. Splurge a little here. It’s high quality desserts, so it’s not cheap. However it’s also not absurdly expensive. There’s something here for everyone. The ambiance is old style, keeping the look and feel of old east village and maintaining the vibe of belonging to this neck of the city for a long time. Make it a regular routine or a destination.
