::Was trying to meet up with some friends who had already left by the time I arrived. There was live music on this particular night, so there was a cover charge. The people I was trying to meet up with had already left and the music had ended, so I only stayed for about five minutes. The door man was super cool and as he saw me walk out asked if I was already leaving. After hearing my brief explanation, he gave me the three dollars back. I didn't expect him to refund the money nor did I ask. Much appreciated, Venice Cafe.

::Very different and cool bar to hang out. A house turned into a full service bar. Live music. Best is the custom courtyard. Awesome place to chill.

::Cash only. Great service. Live music the night I was there. Good, but could be improvement on available space for large parties (work is currently ongoing on parts of the venue). Highly appreciative of the general neutral bathrooms.

::Very eclectic atmosphere. I feel like I'm in a weird movie that makes you feel strange but euphoric.... but I'm sure the alcohol has a little to do with that. Open mic on Monday is fun. A definite spot for patio season. Bring a first date here if you want them to understand how strange you are.

::This place is so amazing. It's like a mini City Museum in a bar. Go. Explore. Tip your bartender generously. It's the coolest bar you will ever visit (or at least be in your top 3 if you're well traveled). It's number 1 on my list.
