::Velo is a quaint locale located just off the main drag of nyack. We had a reservation for restaurant week at 7 pm on a Thursday and it was quite crowded. There are parking lots just a few hundred yards away. We went for restaurant week and we're served a 3 course meal. The mushroom risotto was tasty and savory. The butternut squash was tasty without being too heavy. The swordfish was delicious, though a little heavy on the shallots. Portion was also a tad small. Braised short rib was very tender and paired well with honey mashed sweet potato. Peanut butter cheesecake was tasty (coming from a non-cheesecake fan). Fair prices. Adequate service from our waiter.

::Love this place. Food is amazing and excellent service. Had the Fried Oysters appetizer and Black Sea Bass both specials tonight. I can still taste it. My wife had a 1/2 portion of Cevetelli and the Hangar Steak and she enjoyed both. So did I (tried both of hers as well).

::Great place to meet friends and have a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious and the wine choices good. The staff was friendly and plesant and efficient. The prices are high but you are paying for quality. Finding a parking spot was rough.
